All of the Kardashians share a flair for home design and real estate, but Kim and Kourtney Kardashian take the prize for the most museum-quality pieces.

Both sisters are big fans and buyers of Pierre Jeanneret furniture, and Kim went on Instagram to promote her Screenshop app that turns your images into shoppable catalogues of similar products.

“Some of my favorite furniture is these Jeanneret chairs and couches,” Kim said while instructing viewers on finding furniture similar to the set of mid-century modern Jeanneret couch and chairs she has in her home.

Pierre Jeanneret was the cousin and longtime colleague of famous architect and designer Le Corbusier, born Charles-Édouard Jeanneret.

Pierre became a partner at in Le Corbusier’s office in Paris after graduating from École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva in 1921. He is most famous for the work he designed while living in India in the 1950’s — geometric forms made of teak, including lounge chairs, desks and his signature drafting compass-shaped legs.

Kourtney Kardashian has 12 Jeanneret teak conference chairs in her dining room and two more in her home office — each worth anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 (talk about sitting on a small fortune).

The woven accent chairs in her home office are from the 1950s. “The teak wood and the natural fiber rattan really warms up the space and mixes well with the other modern pieces,” Kourtney notes on her website.

Furnishing her dining room required a hunt spanning multiple vintage boutiques and months.

"My decorator Martyn [Lawrence Bullard] and I pieced together a collection of 12 chairs for my dining room over the course of several months. Once we had a complete set, we had the cushions redone so they all matched,” Kourtney adds. “It was a process, but well worth it!”
