Ellen Degeneres, the reigning real estate queen of Hollywood, is at it again. She recently purchased a palatial Santa Barbara mansion for $18.6 million, according to Domino.com.

At 6,000 square feet, with four bedrooms and four and a half baths, this Carpinteria beachfront property is a bit of a downsize from her and wife Portia de Rossi's 10,000-square-foot Italian villa, currently on the market for $45 million, but what it lacks in space, it makes up for in views and amenities.

All the shore-facing walls are lined with sliding glass doors that connect the contemporary beach house's entertaining spaces with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. On this stunning one-acre property, there's a plunge pool, clay tennis court, private courtyard, tennis court and a guesthouse that sleeps eight — perfect for hosting all of Degeneres's celebrity friends.

While the outdoor amenities are definitely the star of the show, the interiors aren't too shabby either. The first floor houses three bedroom suites, according to the listing, and an open floor plan combines the gourmet kitchen, a massive living room and a dining room with some of the best views in the house.

The upper level is the "master's sanctuary," or Del Rossi and Degeneres's new love nest. The bedroom features a massive closet, a soaking tub, an expansive office and not two, but three fireplaces (if you count the one on the master bedroom patio).

If you want to snag real estate like this you have to act fast. According to the listing, the house was only on the market for 14 days before it went into escrow. The queen is as speedy as she is savvy.

The house was sold by Marsha Kotlyar and Michele White of MK Properties, and Kathleen Winter of Berkshire Hathaway. Check out the rest of this California oasis below.
