Whether they're tiny house buses, converted food trucks, or even boats, we have undoubtedly seen the rise of tiny homes over the last decade, and the trend isn't slowing down any time soon. It seems like every design aims to outdo the last one, cramming more features into less square footage, but none are quite as life-changing as the "Tiny Home for Tiny Tots."
Built by RE/MAX and architecture students at Henry Ford College (HFC), this particular house comes with a serious benefit: It's being sold through an online auction to help support Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, which funds care for more than 10 million children in the United States and Canada.
"Our more than 26-year partnership with CMN Hospitals has shown us that miracles come in all shapes and sizes — and so do homes," Mike Reagan, RE/MAX SVP, Business Alliances said. "During the online auction, the highest bidder will not only receive the dream of home ownership, but also support sick and injured kids in their communities."
Bidding for the auction will take place from July 26-28th, and you can register to bid here. Even if you're not in the market to downsize, you can still make a difference by donating. Whatever you do, you've got to see how light and airy designers made this 24-foot-long, less-than-9-feet-wide space.
